SCRIPT <for visual cues, please refer to the storyboard>:
<Sung>
Hey creative director,
Today’s you lucky day
Because a man named Alex
Paid me to bring his book your way.

Last time you saw his work,
You called it a literary crime
But since then he’s made some revisions
That’ll make this worth your time

<fast and in a loud whisper—dancing with his arms as he goes>
‘Check it out, check it out, check it out

Look at his first campaign,
And you will surely see
These headlines are much shorter
And better than they used to be

And in his Tampax campaign
He added a digital piece.
He also says you were right about women
And sorry he offended your niece.

<fast and in a loud whisper—dancing with his arms as he goes>
He’s sorry. Sorry. So sorry.

You remember those grammatical errors
In his Toyota long copy ad?
He cleaned those up right away
And he says that they were his bad.

[Singer doesn’t even make it through that last verse before the creative director slams the door. Singer stops in mid-verse.]

TITLE CARD 1: <headline> You don’t need a gimmick. You need NEXT.
