Upcoming Audition for Colorado Film School Project!!

Michael Sharon, a student at the Colorado Film School is producing a short film Twombley. This will be his fourth year film for his BFA in Video Production. Michael and his partner-in-crime, Zach Eastman (Zach is directing), have assembled a really good team and the script is very interesting.

It's a non-paying gig.

They are looking to shoot in mid-February and we expect the shoot to be 3-4 days.

This movie takes place in the 1950's at a small radio station in Denver and is about an older man who is looses his sense of purposes as the world moves from radio to television. The cast is largely made up of white males as white males dominated such work places and segregation was in full swing at the time. We apologize in advance that this excludes many talented actors in Denver from being considered for roles in this project.

They are holding auditions for a few speaking roles this Saturday, October 22nd between 12:00 noon to 3:00. Auditions are being held at the Colorado Film School (9075 East Lowery Blvd. Building 965, Denver, CO 80230).

They are looking to fill the following roles:

  • Frazier – 18-25, fresh-faced. New on the job
  • Twombley – 50's, Grizzled radio vet. Alcoholic.
  • Simon/Feese – 35-50, face for television and a voice for radio (represents what Twombley is not).
  • Detectives (2) – 35-50, all body types, looks.
  • Mr. Young – 30-65, producer/station owner type.
Call Michael at 720-891-3303 or Zach 720-284-4163 to schedule a time.
