Student film looking for Actors

My name is Greg Nemer and I am producing a short film Directed by Katie Anderies at the Colorado Film School. We would be honored if any of your talent pool would be interested in auditioning. The project is tentatively titled Street Encounters and will be shot over November 19th, 20th and 21st. We are casting for the two lead roles of Michelle/Melissa and Dan.

We are having auditions at the Lowry campus this Sunday, the 24th of October from noon until 4pm.

street encounters logline: A young woman runs from her past for reasons unknown; unwilling to give away her secret even when confronted with an accidental meeting of her highschool love.

Roles casting for

Melissa/Michelle (dual role) age range 18-23

Looking for an actress willing and able to play a dramatically different versions of the same character. Melissa(17) is in love and interested in finding her independence from her parents. Michelle(22) is dead on the inside and hiding from her past.


Dan (young & old) Age Range 18-23

Searching for an actor able to play both 18 and 23. Young Dan(18) is carefree and in love; uninterested in taking life too seriously. Older Dan(23) is haunted by the disappearance of Melissa and chooses to move on, only to run into her by chance.


This is a Student film, and as such, is a non-paying job. All actors will be treated with the utmost respect for their craft, fed well, taking into account any food restrictions, and will receive credit and a dvd of the final cut of the short film. Upon completion, this film will be submitted to dozens of film festivals and a correspondence of any festival approvals or awards will be kept.
